We highly recommend you should wait for 24-48 hours before going to the beach, especially if you want to swim in the ocean. It takes at least 4-6 hours for the adhesive to adhere and we recommend that you do not let your lashes into water during that time.
If you absolutely must be in the water, try to avoid soaking in seawater to protect your lashes. You can also try wearing goggles to protect your eyelash extensions. Also, try to avoid saunas as they can melt the eyelash glue.
The beach also has a number of factors that can affect your eyes and eyelashes. Wind tends to add sand which can sting your eyes and make you rub your eyes.
Bathing in the pool
If you can avoid getting your extensions wet within the first 24 hours, we recommend doing so. After that time, feel free to enjoy but keep these tips in mind. Use swimming goggles when you plan to soak your eyelash extensions for a long time. Clean your lashes as the chemicals in the swimming pool can damage the adhesive properties of the eyelash glue
You should absolutely use sunscreen, but apply it carefully. If using a spray, avoid spraying directly on the face. Apply sunscreen with your fingers and be careful not to stain your lashes. We recommend using an oil-free sunscreen to limit your exposure to chemicals.
Dry eyelash near kidney
Be careful when drying with a towel, do not rub your entire face with the towel. When you get the chance, spray or clean your lashes with some water to wash away the salt and chlorine from your lashes.
After the first 24-48 hours, you can feel free to wet your lashes, but be sure to rinse them off with water.
